Position Summary

The Shop Technician is responsible for supporting day-to-day operations in the shop, including tool assembly, shipping/receiving, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace. This is a hands-on role that requires teamwork, attention to detail, and a strong work ethic.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Communicate effectively with clients, coworkers, and supervisors
• Maintain a clean and organized shop environment
• Assemble and disassemble downhole completion oil tools according to specifications
• Load and unload freight using a forklift
• Operate hand tools and basic shop equipment safely and efficiently
• Perform general labor duties as assigned
• Use basic computer systems for inventory, documentation, or communication tasks

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Drivers license & clean driving record
• Previous shop or oilfield experience is an asset but not required
• Ability to operate a forklift
• Comfortable using hand tools and basic power tools
• Basic computer literacy (email, inventory systems, etc.)
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Physically able to lift up to 75 lbs. and work on your feet throughout the day

**All candidates will participate in an aptitude test**
